hello =)

welcome back to my blog again!! kinda miss blogging days (still remember when i closed my blog in jan '07). oh well. since my blog is now re-opened, let me write about some past events that happened to me ever since jan '07 till now. as one of my lecturer says. let's start off with a bang!! *winks*

in jan '07, on the 29th was my last day at work. kinda miss the place =(



from the picture above, there's mingtat (our manager), me and yongli. miss them and the rest a lot too cause its been quite some time since i have seen all of them. now whenever i passed by that shop (at tembeling), i will miss the food i ate over there, the customers i used to serve, the air-con that makes me feel like slping, the ice cream cake, the ice cream i used to scoop with a hole inside (oops), the teh-terik that tastes so nice, longan curacao (where we blend blue curacao + longan together) and etc.

next, we skipped to march '07. its my birthday!! went to sentosa with Our Days people (namely Samuel, Xiao Yan, Tao Guang, Ting Ting, Qing Hui, Win Yin, Yang Yi and me). as 30 march '07 is also tp band concert and my OLTC camp, i skipped the camp in the morning =x and went out to celebrate with them. so sorry i knew the guys from ASC going to celebrate my birthday but Our Days people already booked me. hehe. after sentosa, the rest went for tp band concert while i head towards the OLTC camp.

in march '07, i bought my laptop which i am using currently. and immediately i install a game called Audition. its a very old game but i got addicted after playing a few times. basically its a button movement game where you follow a strings of arrows accordingly and press spacebar to initiate a dance move. if i am not wrong, i joined the game in 2006, and the only screenshot i got from my laptop is this:



ps: i am not inside the game, just using my 2nd character to do a random screenshot.

then in april '07, i joined tp band cause qi zheng (my sec sch friend) asked me to join to sort of 'change' their political stand in the band. at first i wanted to audition trumpet as my playing instrument, but when i heard they needed horn players, then i joined their french horn section through the interview. didn play quite well at first. all my fingerings were from trumpet (or single horn fingering). but of course, now is better as its been more than a year since i played the horn.

ok now fast forward to fireworks showcase in '07. as i am amazed by the fireworks in '06, going to squeeze with the people to take a peek at the '07 fireworks festival was worth the choice.









and after the fireworks, of course there were a lot of people trying to take a train home right? so after the fireworks, me and the tp band gang (See Hua, Qing Hui, Desmond, Zhe Xing, Jolene, Olivia) went to Pan Pacific Hotel as suggested by Olivia, to take their lift up to the 37th storey and down again. quite fun time we got there. haha.

Next, its countdown to year '08. went to take neoprints with Our Days crew. the neoprint can be found on the collage above.
